Indeed, I am a part of Generation Z, the "digital" generation. I have tasted the wonders of the internet as far back as 8 when I acquired my first phone. From then, it would only deepen. At first, it was just blind curiosity. I loved to watch my dad play all sorts of mature games, like Fallout or Metro (aka, the content I wasn't meant to watch). It went from innocent Minecraft videos to honest psychoanalysises of consciousness...they sure grow up fast. But I must say that I have at least a few reasons to make this site...let's start with the common sentiment: the internet has become a place devoid of meaning. Endless scrolling, lack of interaction, post-ironic aesthetics. That is the so called "coreweb", which fortunately I managed to get rid of. I don't view the indie web as a solution to the problem, but rather a much needed alternative. It feels more intimate on here, if you know what I mean. As for the 2nd reason...I needed to occupy myself with something. If you don't, your mind tends to fall into these cycles of not doing much. This is like a task; something to keep me focused. It's not as bad as you might think. I like to think of it as a personal project as well, something like a diary, something you can call yours. That is the positive individualism I have seeked. Sharing my experiences and passions in a way like this is quite the fun to say the least.
I'll try to update this site regularly...though this may vary as new challenges appear in my life. Please do check out the other sections, I sure write a lot sometimes.

Around these woods I am known as "WojanBrzoza". Don't worry, you don't have to know the meaning of my name. Oh, you wish to request more of myself? Sit down, because i shall tell you a story.
Far away, near the sea, lived a colony of birch trees in a forest. They never talked, but slightly changed as the years and seasons went by. One day however, a youngling had enough of the eerie silence and decided to shout. On that day, that tree would be expelled and sent into the wide, wild world, all alone. But it seemed to regret nothing.

It began one day when I saw this video. I'm not sure if I remember correctly now, but I think I first noticed the author on another site and went down the link to their YT, or maybe it really was just recommended to me. This happened on 9th March 2025. From then, I'd be quite fascinated with site making. This is all still very rough...but I know HTML and CSS well enough to make something of it. This is something completely new for me, by the way. I resort to this instead of social media, though I didn't see the old web when it was thriving, it's an amazing alternative, due to how much individuality each site holds.
